Spring
I. shed
wake up laughing
at your dream
stuck on repeat
birth from the pain
of what has been
broken
enter the crack,
the tunnel to being
life found
in feeling
II. stir
we sit,
we stare,
the same pond
the same frog
circumference of logs
distance in feet
back up
to get ahead
start running
and then
jump
soar
fall
heart first
III. blossom
1) sit at desk,
2) think,
3) scribble,
4) listen to others
the A, B, C’s
of What They’ve Seen
I longed to be there
but I was no where
wishing to be some where
never knowing
that I could be
where ever
I found myself to be
IV. weave
human drivers
keep going
moving forward
busy, busy bees
on a mission
have a purpose
a reason for things
racing for time
foot slammed hard
upon arrival
(the hand that steers
feels only the wheel)
but moments cannot be won
or lost
they just are
like us
strings of infinity
V. spirit
see in your life
what you will to see
in life
courage,
to view the recorded
and then throw away the machine
“We shall not cease from exploration
at the end of all our exploring
will be to arrive where we started
and know the place for the first time.”
-T.S. Eliot
